What’s parking sensor

The full name of reversing radar is "reversing anti-collision radar", also known as "Parking Aid". It is a safety aid for parking or reversing. It is composed of ultrasonic sensor (commonly known as probe), controller and display (or buzzer). It can inform the driver of the surrounding obstacles with sound or more intuitive display, relieve the trouble caused by the driver’s front and rear left and right visitation when parking, reversing and starting the vehicle, and help the driver clear the defects of dead angle and blurred vision, so as to improve the driving safety.

The component of Parking sensor
1)Ultrasonic sensor: used to transmit and receive ultrasonic signal, through which distance can be measured.
2)Host: send sine wave pulse to the ultrasonic sensor, process the received signal, convert the distance value, and communicate the data with the display
3)Display or buzzer: receive distance data of host, display distance value according to distance and distance and provide different level distance alarm sound.

Quantity of probes
Now, the reverse radar on the market has 2 probes, 3 probes, 4 probes, 6 probes and 8 probes, and 2-4 probes respectively. The reverse radar is generally installed on the rear bumper of the car. The installation mode of 6-8 probe is the first 2 rear 4 and the front 4 rear 4, and there are also new off-road special front 6 probes. In addition to detecting the rear condition of the vehicle, the normal reverse radar with more than 6 probes can detect the situation of the front left and right corners.
Many people are always very nervous when reversing. When they hear the continuous sound of the machine, they will be upset and make more mistakes. Therefore, don’t believe that what can make a sound must be good. If you are sensitive to sound and easy to fret, choose a silent reversing radar with clear and concise display.

Suggestions
1.Installation height: generally off the ground: 45 ~ 55 cm in front of the car; 50 ~ 65cm in rear of the car.
2.Clean the probe frequently to prevent soil accumulation.
3.Do not cover the surface of the probe with hard things, which may cause false alarm or inaccurate distance measurement, such as mud covering the surface of the probe.
4.Avoid freezing in winter.
5.The front and rear probes of 6 / 8 probe reversing radar can not be exchanged at will, which may cause the problem of frequent ringing and false alarm.
6.Pay attention to the installation direction of the probe, and press up to install it.
7.It is not recommended to install the probe on the metal plate, because the vibration of the metal plate will cause resonance of the probe, resulting in false alarm.
