Closely related to the vehicle camera is the vision extension technology of the driving environment. The most widely used is the 360 degree panoramic bird view of the driving assistance system.

Another purpose of vehicle cameras is lane detection. At present, lane detection is mostly achieved through road markings and road edge detection. In lane detection, typical driving safety assistance systems include Lane Departure Warning System and turning deceleration adjustment system. The lane departure warning system is made up of cameras, speed sensors, information processing systems, steering wheel regulators, and warning systems. Once the vehicle has a tendency to deviate from the lane, it will alert the driver through indicator lights and buzzers. When it is determined that the lane is changed consciously based on the driver’s turn signal operation, the alarm will be temporarily stopped.
